Mermaids Grotto - all levels

General description

Here we have depth to all levels and we dive on high tides. After a short walk and swim we will find this crevice that is a gateway to one of the most beautiful dive site accessible by shore around Onna Village. The breathtaking hard coral reef stretches along the coast of Manza and you can meet amazing creatures like white tip reef sharks, turtles, school of moorish idol, barracudas, moray eels and much much more.

Diving operation

The location is a bit remote and there is no shower or toilets available, we recommend to come ready for diving. After setting the equipment and check we will cross a little track that lead to the beach line and that's when the swim will start, slowly to conserve energy. Each dive can take up to 60 minutes including safety stop and its only 2 dives available because it can be physically demanding. Tiring but awesome, we are sure you will love it.

What to bring

For a full day dive we recommend to bring water, snacks, a towel, sunglasses and sunscreen (prefer the ones reef-safe). Also bring some change as it will not be allowed to sit on car with wetsuits or wet clothes. There will always be a cooler box available for your food and drinks.
