Sunabe SeaWall - All levels

General description

On this sites new divers and experienced divers can enjoy one the most beautiful soft coral reef in Okinawa mainland. So close from the city and a short swimming from the shore to a massive, healthy and colorful coral reef sheltering a huge variety of marine life such as hermit crabs, lobsters, cuttlefish and green turtles. The site can reach 20m depth but the most beautiful part is definitely on the shallows. The dive site is also great for a night dive as we can find even more interesting things like bobtail squid or blue ring octopus.

Diving operation

We will dive when the tides are high. The meeting time will depend on that. On this area there is no changing rooms available so we recommend to come prepared with your swim wear. There are public toilets available nearby. After preparing the equipment, check we start the dives that could take up to 60 minutes including safety stop depending on your air consumption.

What to bring

For a full day dive we recommend to bring water, snacks, a towel, sunglasses and sunscreen (prefer the ones reef-safe). Also bring some change as it will not be allowed to sit on car with wetsuits or wet clothes. There will always be a cooler box available for your food and drinks.
